DTRA UK Flattrack Nationals

The 2024 season is hotting up we are still working on some more dates but here is the schedule so far.

The Flattrack National Championships will take place over just 5 rounds in 2024 with scores from all rounds to count.

Round 1 – Northside Arena April 13-14th
Round 2 - Greenfield TT May 11th-12th
Round 3 - Mallory Bike Bonanza 6th-7th July
Round 4-5  - Amman Valley 1/2 mile August 10th-11th
 

DTRA Special Events 2024

Race 1 – Island 500

The Island 500

 

The DTRA is excited to present an evening of Flat Track Racing on the Isle of Wight. This race is open to DTRA club members and is a  celebration of some of our most exciting classes from our National Series in a one-off individual event. Witness the Thrills and spills first hand on Saturday 15th June from 4.00 pm. Races kick off from 6pm and we are stoked to present what promises to be a great evening of action.

Riders travel from across Europe to ride in our Pronational series races, we expect to see the UKs best riders sign up for the winner takes all £500 cash purse which will be decided over 12 laps on the 385m Banked oval.  Our Vintage class attracts the best Vintage Flat Track bikes from around the UK and Europe. The racing is close and the array of Vintage machinery is exceptional. 

Our Youth series is split into two classes Youth Juniors and Inters with riders from age 6-15 competing on Flat Track specific bikes.

Vintage: 36 Riders

Open: 24 Riders

 

Gates for Spectators will open from 4.30pm and the evening show will get underway at 6pm.
Racing Schedule:

Saturday Sign on and Technical inspection opens at 3.00pm and closes at 4pm

Riders Briefing 4.15pm

Curfew for racing 9pm

Race 2 -Greenfield 21st - 22nd September

To Finish of the DTRA season for 2024 we are changing things up a little.

 

We want to give a opportunity for our riders to have new experiences and race against people they dont normally ride with.

Rookie  (As per DTRA Regs) (not open to rookies who made a Rookie poduim during the 2024 season, more experienced rookies are asked to enter the open classes)

Vintage 2s, 4s and Evo (All classes race together with 3 seperate finals)

Singles (Open to all rider on Single Cylinder motorcycles)

Twins (Open to all riders on Twin Cylinder motorcycles)

 

 

As well as poduims for the top 3 in each final we have some special awards for this round.
